It is with much excitement that we reach out to you. For the past 5 months we have been working to produce Nina’s short film Orange Chicken. The success of our short film Big Boy, which we shot over 7 days in New York City last winter with the help of Horizon Pictures, has encouraged us to take even more control over our creative projects. Orange Chicken is just our first step. We plan to produce, direct and act in this quirky short this coming fall and submit the project to festivals all over the country.
We’ve already made much progress in organizing and building a team to get our project made but we are now at that crucial point where we need outside financial help to proceed. Now for the hard part: To make this dream a reality we need to raise $12,000. We hope you can help us reach this goal.
No donation is too small or too big! Orange Chicken is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions in behalf of Orange Chicken may be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Be a side of rice. Donate $20. This will buy lunch for three crew members who are working for free. Be an Orange Chicken entree. Donate $50. This will cover a day of production insurance. Supersize it and add a soda. Donate $300. Pay our DP for a day.
